Here’s your primer for this week’s College Football games.

Oklahoma v. TCU

Fort Worth, TX | 4:00pm (CST) | FOX

What to Watch For:
The Sooner offensive line has been much maligned through three games. Oklahoma boasts a backfield with two NFL talents, but have only managed to average 178 yards/game on the ground. Adding to that the fact that QB Baker Mayfield has been sacked 11 times means the line must now step up to the challenge of protecting the line of scrimmage. TCU has shown the ability to stop the run, but their secondary has proven beatable. If the Sooner line can protect Mayfield, look for him to have a big day, freeing Perine and Mixon room to run.

Oklahoma State v. Texas

Stillwater, OK | 11:00am (CST) | ABC

What to Watch For:
The last time the home team won in this series was in 2008. Since then, Oklahoma State has won four times in Austin, while Texas has won the last eight in Stillwater. If the Cowboys are to challenge for a Big 12 title, they must defend their home turf. Mason Rudolph enters the game averaging 324 yards passing/game, and getting him going through the air may prove to be the distance. The Texas defense has shown glimpses of brilliance, but are susceptible to giving up points. Last week, the Baylor Bears effectively limited WR James Washington’s touches, so it will be interesting to see if the Cowboys can get creative in finding ways to give Washington the ball.
