If you’ve listened at all to the Powersports Podcast you know that we love Flat Track Racing. We especially love the look of the bikes, which means we also love street trackers. So when we saw news of the new Bott XR1R from Bottpower, a motorcycle designer and builder out of Valencia, Spain, it grabbed our attention.

The XR1R is Bottpower’s “Laboratory Bike” built for track (asphalt not dirt) application and is based on their XR1.  The XR1R, utilizes a Buell XB12 V-Twin engine producing around 150 HP  and features a titanium frame, carbon fiber bodywork, and racing electronics.

The goal with the XR1R is to complete development and testing and have a version ready to race for the 2017 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.

We can’t wait to see the Bott XR1R take on the Mountain and the tracks, but with a brand new Spanish National Flat Track Series being announced, we would absolutely love to see a version of the XR1R sliding around a dirt track.
